Die Black History Month Poetry Night ist mittlerweile zur Tradition geworden. Jedes Jahr freuen wir uns Schwarze Künstler*innen mit unterschiedlichem Erfahrungsgrad auf der Bühne zu begrüßen, die uns auf eine Reise mit ihren Wörtern mitnehmen, sei diese fantasievoll, gefühlvoll, temperamentvoll oder humorvoll. Auf unserer Reise führt uns dieses Jahr das reiche und komplexe Leitthema Wurzeln und Kulturerbe. Ob ruhige See oder ein wilder Ritt, es wird eine bereichernde Reise.

English version:

The Black History Month poetry night is something of a tradition. Every year we ask Black performers with varying levels of experience to take the stage and take us on a journey with their words, be it whimsical, emotional, intellectual, musical, or simply playful. Guiding our journey this year will be the richly complex theme of Roots and Heritage. And whether we're in for smooth sailing or a bumpy ride, we're sure to gain a lot along the way.

Poetry will be in German and English.

Entrance: 5,-

Tickets are on sale on the door. Refugees will get free entry.
