This year's Berlinale darling is a completely improvised arthouse film with a magnificent cast of fearless actors. CASTING tells the story of a TV production that sets out to remake Fassbinder's classic THE BITTER TEARS OF PETRA VON KANT. While the film production is about to start, director Vera hasn't found her Petra yet while her casting process turns into an ordeal for everyone involved. A bittersweet and hilarious look behind the scenes of the film industry and its power struggles.
