Hintergründe des syrischen Krieges - Eine Debatte unter Linken

Auch im sechsten Jahr des Kriegs in Syrien ist der Gesprächsbedarf in der gesellschaftlichen Linken zu den Hintergründen des Konflikts, zu Ursachen, Verlauf und möglichen Lösungen für den Krieg noch immer sehr groß. Aus diesem Grund möchte die Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung (RLS) den Raum öffnen für Austausch zwischen sowie Auseinandersetzung mit vielfältigen Standpunkten und Positionen. Themen sollen sowohl die Aspekte der sozialen, politischen und wirtschaftlichen Situation in Syrien sein, die zur Revolution 2011 geführt haben, als auch die Entwicklungen auf lokaler, regionaler und internationaler Ebene seither und die Situation heute.

Backgrounds on the War in Syria – A debate within the Left

After six years of War in Syria the need for further dialogue within the social left on the backgrounds of the conflict, on its causes, the course and possible solutions for the war is still there. For this reason, the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung (RLS) would like to make room for exchange between and debate on diverse views and positions. Issues to be tackled are the aspects of the social, political and economic situation in Syria that led to the revolution in 2011 as well as the developments on the local, region and international level and the situation today.
