ABOUT US

Lotus Aikido Dojo is affiliated with Bulungan Aikido Dojo which is now directly under Aikikai Foundation, Aikido World Headquarters, Tokyo, Japan. It was established in 2007 by Pradityo Soekarno, a senior instructor of Bulungan Aikido Dojo who has been practicing "The Way of Harmony" since 1998.

It is a place where teens and adults, male and female, can train "The Art of Peace" for endurance, relaxation, and harmonization. Not only to think of it as a training space, but also a sanctuary where you can improve your physical health, mental flexibility, and positive mind.

A DECADE TO CELEBRATE

Every journey is unique. Our journey is special. This is year Lotus Aikido Dojo will celebrate its 10th anniversary on December 1. For this special occasion, we will hold a two-day international seminar and demonstration in a weekend (December 2 & 3). It is open for all domestic and overseas aikido practitioners. It will be full of intensive sessions of empty-handed body workouts and weapon trainings.

GUEST INSTRUCTOR

Lotus Aikido Dojo proudly presents Bruno Gonzalez Sensei (6th degree black belt) as the special guest instructor for our 10th anniversary seminar and demonstration.

We have been keeping up with Bruno Gonzalez Sensei's aikido career for a long time. Then in 2016, our dojo cho, Pradityo Soekarno, had the chance to finally meet Bruno Gonzalez Sensei in person at a seminar in Singapore. It was a quick click and one thing led to another as Bruno Gonzalez Sensei was meant to be a part of Lotus Aikido Dojo's upcoming special event.

This will be his debut to give a two-day seminar and a special performance of an aikido demonstration in Jakarta, Indonesia. Bruno Gonzalez Sensei is a visionary aikido expert and one of the senior instructors of Le Cercle Tissier Paris, an aikido dojo founded by his mentor, Christian Tissier Shihan (master teacher) whose aikido supreme reputation is well-known worldwide among the international aikido community as one of the aikido pioneers in France and one of the few foreigners who made it to the level of 8th degree black belt.
