San E instantly received attention in the Hip Hop scene with his appearance and got himself the nickname ‘Rap Genius’ just as quick. In 2010, he won Korean Music Awards’ Best Rap & Hip Hop Song Award with Rap Genius. Afterwards, he released EP Everybody Ready? under JYP but didn’t show much after that. In 2013, he ended his contract with JYP and joined RHYMER at Brand New Music, also striving towards a second heyday in his musical career.
