Wooden Arms
Wooden Arms are a genre-fluid contemporary quintet from the UK who draw from Alternative, Classical, and Trip-Hop music. Enthused with the rhythmic sensibilities of Portishead, blended with the ethereal melodies of Sigur Ros, Wooden Arms' first full length album „Trick of the Light“ (due for release October 6th 2017) sees the band shift to a more contemporary palette.
Their first single ‚Lost In Your Own Home‘ showcases this shift: It’s a concise little amble through the mind of a once 21 year old Alex Carson first experimenting with psychotropic drugs in a confined space after unceremoniously leaving the familial home due to religious differences. Carson writes: „I remember being haunted by shadows at night, not quite knowing what was reality and what was a dream. I wasn’t on quite that self-destructive a path as the scenario suggests, But this song epitomises the banality of real life mixed with my juvenile attempts at trying to come to terms with a massive life change… whilst also taking drugs and losing my mind.”

Tom Adams
Composer and electronic musician Tom Adams grew up close to Cambridge, one of the flattest regions of the UK. Despite this, or perhaps because of this, Tom’s heart has found a home in the wild and mountainous places of this earth. This love of nature is an ever present voice in his work, lending a widescreen quality to his music, from intimate piano moments to mountainous waves of sound.
Combining his natural ability to improvise with his classical training at the University of York and electronic music knowledge, Tom is able to move seamlessly between styles whilst always maintaining a strong overall aesthetic. The result is a breathtaking and beautiful musical experience that is a perfect soundtrack to mountains and wild beaches.
His new album „Silence“ was recorded as live takes in a single afternoon, the tactile electro-acoustic arrangements received accolades for their shimmering simplicity and the wide-ranging output of synth-guided exploits, resulting in a mix between chamber pop and melancholic piano-ambient works.
